The bluefins have come inshore with the stripers. We have caught 3 tunas in 3 days. the stripers are starting to bite good again after a few slower days. This 285 tuna is the class of fish we are catching 2 to 3 miles off the beach.  Read More →

Today I fished on my doc partner’s boat since he needed a mate.  We couldn’t get all our lines in the water due to the magnitude of the fish bite this morning.  Whales and bluefin tunas were mixed in; we even hooked a bluefin! Yesterday we went on a long boat ride to the North looking for the stripers.  The wind started blowing so we headed back towards Rudee and found them right off the resort strip.  Today they moved even closer; right off the inlet!
